1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Grove ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Grove is a habit tracking application that allows you to create habits, log completions, track mood, view insights, earn achievements, and participate in social accountability features. The service is provided as-is and may be updated or modified at any time.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use Grove. You can sign up using your email address or through Google authentication.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your login credentials with others.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
  • Upload or share content that is offensive, harmful, or violates the rights of others
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to it
  • Use automated systems or bots to access or interact with the App
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Grove, including habit names, descriptions, and any text you enter. By using the social features and making your profile public, you grant us a limited license to display your public activity to other users of the App.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Grove and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our written permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Availability and Modifications

We strive to keep Grove available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page or by submitting a request on our Support page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Grove is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. Grove is not a medical or therapeutic tool and should not be used as a substitute for professional health advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grove shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of Grove after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
